The Lough Neagh: Blue-Green Algae initiative from SBRI is being developed to explore potential solutions to treat and reduce Blue-Green Algae blooms without impacting the natural environment of Lough Neagh and associated Northern Ireland water ways.

The MyLoughNeagh project is a response by a consortium including Biild, LG Sonic, Dublin City University and Laganview Associates leveraging Ultrasonic technology, cutting edge research, AI and data platforms to combat the harmful algae blooms in Lough Neagh. 

The project includes the outline design of a platform to facilitate stakeholder engagement and provide educational resources. Biild are creating a comprehensive solution featuring e-learning modules, interactive dashboards, and system integrations. 

This platform would enable stakeholders to access information, participate in discussions, and engage with educational content, promoting collaboration and community involvement.
